ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Charlie!
I'm a wife, mama, and lifelong lover of the outdoors. Some of my favorite days are spent outside with my amazing husband and daughter. I graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and had the opportunity to serve as the Garden Manager for my university's garden, where my love for growing things only deepened.
My gardening philosophy is simple: God created an incredible system in nature, and I don't believe we could do it better. I love learning about the way He designed things to work together and trying to mimic that in my own garden. Companion planting and composting are just a few of my current interests.
Simply Rooted is a way for me to share my passions while encouraging others to grow their own fresh food. My hope is to encourage you to slow down, get your hands dirty, reconnect with the earth, and discover the joy of growing something.
Thank you for growing with me!
